Hi, I’m Lisa Connor, a wildlife and nature photographer who is passionate about capturing the beauty and essence of the creatures that surround us in this rich and biodiverse area of Southern Ontario, that I call home.
I am a wife and mother, and a woman of the Upper Mohawk Nation belonging to Six Nations of the Grand with mixed settler roots. My work is deeply connected to who I am and where I come from. As I continue reconnecting with the land, my photography has become a way to honor that relationship — to listen, to learn, and to reflect the stories the creatures of the land offer me.
I reside in Southern Ontario where I love to spend my time exploring the areas of Carolinian forests. My goal is to reveal the essence of our environment — the details we often pass by and the moments that remind us how alive our world truly is. Through my lens, I aim to share not only the beauty of nature, but the responsibility we all share to protect it.
